Privacy policy

This policy explains what data isthisyourownai collects, why, and what control you have over it. We collect as little as possible and never sell it.

Who we are

isthisyourownai is an independent review site. For any privacy question, including a request to access or delete your data, contact bilal@isthisyourownai.com.

The newsletter

If you subscribe, we collect your email address to send the newsletter. This is handled by Beehiiv, our email provider, who processes the data on our behalf. We use it only to send issues you asked for. You can unsubscribe from any email in one click, which removes you from the list.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer (such as Amazon) or the tool's site may set their own cookies to attribute a purchase. We do not control those cookies and do not receive your personal data through them, only whether a sale occurred. See our FTC disclosure and Amazon Associates disclosure for how affiliate links work.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare's privacy-first analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use tracking cookies and does not build a profile of you. We see aggregate numbers, not individuals.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not collect more than the newsletter signup and aggregate analytics described above.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask us to show you the data we hold on you, correct it, or delete it, and you can object to its use. Email bilal@isthisyourownai.com and we will action it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top updates. Material changes to how we handle the newsletter will be noted in an issue.
